Position Description:

We are looking for an individual to partner with a Financial Advisor acting as a Part Time Sales Assistant in the Roseville, CA area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Administrative:

•Maintain and update client files
•Prepare general correspondence and office tasks including sorting mail, answering phones, taking messages, etc
•Respond to client requests for forms or sales literature
•Assist with processing paperwork and forms

Marketing:

•Monitor and manage financial advisor's calendar
•Greet clients & prospects in office
•Monitor & manage sales leads
•Prepare client mailings
•Schedule client meetings and prepare client meeting material
•Make proactive outbound relationship calls
•Help develop, schedule and operate client events
•Aid with creating and maintaining all marketing events

Operations:

•Assist with contact management updates
•Assist with monitoring all new account set up’s
•Assist with monitoring all incoming account transfers

Position Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:

•Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
•Must be fluent with applicable personal computer applications, including Outlook e-mail database, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and also acquire and maintain a working knowledge of VALIC sales materials, ordering procedures and regulations pertaining to client contact
•2-3 years of administrative experience
•Excellent attitude and extraordinary client service orientation
•Excellent analytical skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Must consistently exercise discretion in handling client interactions, and in directing clients to the appropriate party for resolving problems or complex issues
•Knowledge of financial services industry a plus
•Previous experience supporting a financial advisor a plus
•Experience in a marketing or customer service environment a plus

Hours &

Compensation:

•16-20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Flexible schedule
•Starting pay rate at $12.00-14.00/ hour, DOE
•Person hired for this position will work in the Roseville Branch office
•Training will be provided by the Financial Advisor
